Rapid Air specializes in small to midrange coil handling and feeding applications. AIR FEEDS
Rapid-Air has long been the industry leader in these micro series air feeds. These feeds can handle material widths as small as 1 ½” all the way to 16” with pitches as long as 20”
The versatility of these feeds allows them to feed wire, Cloth, plastics and rubber. The standard unit is actuated via a built in plunger. Optional electric air valves allow them to be fired via a programmable cam. Wide range of options to meet customer requirements.
STOCK CUTTERS
Rapid-Air offers a full range of pneumatic stock cutters that provide outstanding application flexibility and efficiency in handling your routine or specialty shearing and cut-to-length jobs. Choose from a small pivoting arm model for light gauge material up to a cutter that exerts 8,000 lbs (3636kg) of force for 24” (610mm) wide flat stock. It can be a stand-alone press or base-mounted unit, or part of a fully synchronized cut-to-length system.
COIL HANDLING
A full line of powered and non-powered reels are available with coil weights from 50-500 pounds on the 100 Series reels and 1500-6000 pounds on the 1000 series. Options include hydraulic reels that offer smooth running capability for delicate material, fixed or adjustable center, electronic loop control for motorized units and much more.
